Maximum Ride by: James Patterson

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while; I've been stressing myself out by procrastinating A LOT. Anyway.

The Maximum Ride series is quite literally, awesome. Look up what awesome means, just to make sure. I think that they made a movie out of it, but I'm not sure. I see all these fan-made trailers, and I get excited but then I realize that they're fan-made. Some one let me know if they find the actual movie trailer.
The book is about 6 kids who were experimented on when they were babies. Maximum Ride, Fang, Iggy, Nudge, Gasman, and Angel. They are dubbed "the Flock", because of them being 2% avian and 98% human. They have wings(which you probably picked up from the avian thing). Max is the strongest, Fang is mysterious; Iggy is blind and has a fondness for explosives, Nudge can hack really well, Gasman looks up to Iggy, and he also has a certain fondness for explosives. Angel is Gasman's biological little sister, and she can read and control minds. The books are way better than my explanation of them. I haven't read all the books yet; I will soon.
I have to go now;
Happy Reading!

Nothing New

Hey guys; I don't really have anything new, and I just don't feel like posting about books today. How about...

Who's seen it? What did you think about it? Was it good? Did you read it before you saw the movie? How does the book compare to the movie? Tell me about it in the comments!
I think that the book was better; the books are generally better than the movies. I don't have much to say about it. I have to go now; please tell me what you thought about it!

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by: J.K. Rowling

Hey guys! Still haven't read anything new yet, so I'll stick with my standby. HP!!!! Whoo hoo!!

HP5: Harry and his friends are going into fifth year, new things are happening. Prefects, hidden houses, secret societies to take down the Dark Lord.
A door in a mysterious place haunts his dreams. Does this have to do with He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named?? I don't know, you'll have to read the book. ;)
A new teacher brings new havoc to the school of Witchcraft and Wizardary. What effect will this new teacher have on the school? Secret societies, maybe? Nah(or does she?).
This is a new year, a time for trying new things(like Quidditch). As terror rises, they must rely on each other more than ever.
I have to go now, but you should read this book.
Happy Reading!

Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire by: J.K. Rowling

Hey guys; I know I said I would have The Magician by now, but I wasn't able to go to the library in time. So now, we go to my old standby. HARRY POTTER. Whoo-hoo!!!

So. For those of you who don't know, HP4(Harry Potter the 4th)is about 14 year old Harry Potter. He is in his fourth year at Hogwarts School Of Witchcraft and Wizardary, with his friends Hermione Granger and Ronald Weasley. At their school this year, a very special event takes place, involving 2 other magic schools.
Also in this book, Harry Potter faces Lord Voldemort for the umpteenth time. And then the usual happens. People die, traitors, woes and foes, and tests of strength and loyalty, magic, blah, blah, blah, etc, etc, etc.
Except; this book isn't like the rest. It's wonderfully told and will have you on the edge of your seat. I am reading it for the 6th time now, I know what's going to happen, but I still don't know what's going to happen. Do you get what I mean? That's how great these books are. They are my go-to books when I've run out of books to read. I have to go now, but
Happy Reading.

Nothing New(again)

I have finished The Alchemyst, so don't worry. I am going to go get The Magician tomorrow or over the weekend, so next week I will have a review for you.
I have 91 books on my read list on my library account. I had to create a new list so I could request more. :P
I've just been thinking. If you're reading this, please pay attention.
You should always be nice to someone, because you never really know what they've gone through. If someone looks strange, don't be mean to them; they could be going through a tough time. I went through some pretty tough times. I won't say what they are, because I haven't even told my best friends yet. I will when I'm ready. Always be kind. If someone is going through something, they need people to stand by them, not bully them. So don't bully people, please. It hurts them. I've been bullied. It sucked. Please don't bully.
Anyway.
After that heavy stuff. Next week I will have a review for you.
Happy reading!!

Nothing New

Yay!! 100 views!!
I haven't read anything new; The Alchemyst is kind of long, and I have had a lot of homework recently. School sucks.
I'm writing a book. I'm not going to tell you what it's about, because it's a secret. Once I'm done though, I will tell you. Actually, I have no idea how it's going to turn out because I haven't done any pre-writing. I just started writing it. It's probably not going to be very good because I didn't do any pre-writing. Every time I get an idea for it I write it down so I don't forget.
I'm very close to finishing The Alchemyst, and once I get the next book then I will have something good to blog about.
Anyway, I have to go now.
Happy Reading!

The Alchemyst by: Micheal Scott

I couldn't find the rest of the Septimus Heap books, so I started this series instead; I will keep looking though!

So, I am reading a book called The Alchemyst.
I kind of like it so far; it is kind of a slow book, if you know what I mean. I'm afraid that it will turn into a really boring book, but I still like it. Sort of.
This book is about Nicholas Flamel, his wife Perenelle, and two teenagers, Sophie and Josh Newman, who are twins.
I'm not very far in the book, but it sounds like that there is a prophecy foretelling twins of the opposite sex are destined to take care of a special book, that gives the secret to eternal life and limitless precious stones and jewels(a.k.a. CASH MONEY). Flamel and his wife are the present caretakers of this book, and this guy called Dr. John Dee want the book so badly he would kidnap Perenelle.
Whoa, plot twist right?
Oops, I kinda gave it away.
Anyway.
So, after this happens, they go to one of "The Elders". Sound mysterious and ancient right? That's what I thought.
And that is where I am in this book; I hope you patient people out there give it a try. I wouldn't recommend it for readers who like action.
Happy Reading!!

Septimus Heap~Magyk by: Angie Sage

I haven't finished this book yet, but so far I like it!

This book is about a particular boy, named Septimus Heap. In the beginning of the book, the story doesn't follow Septimus, it follows his sister, Jenna. I don't want to give to much away about this book, because it's such a good one(so far anyway).
Because of certain events, Jenna, and a woman named Marcia, go into hiding at Jenna's Aunt Zelda's house. On the way, however, Jenna and Marcia pick up a boy who is around Jenna's age, who is 10 years old.
Jenna's father and one of her older brothers(she has six), Nicko, come to check on her, along with the dog, Maxie.
After this, a whole sequence of events turned this book from interesting to spectacular in a matter of a few pages! I am very excited to finish this book and continue with the next one and the next one and the next one and.....well, you get the point. ;)
Happy reading!

Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by: Ransom Riggs

I haven't finished this book yet, but I really like it so far!

This book is about a boy named Jacob. His grandfather told him strange stories, about a little island off the coast of the UK. His grandfather was shipped off to this island, because of the children's home there. He said that the headmistress was and old bird that smoked a pipe.
A strange chain events occur, after which Jacob winds up on the island that his grandfather told him about.
I have to go now, but I hope you read this!

The Tales of Beedle the Bard by: J.K. Rowling

This book is mainly written for MAJOR HP fans, but anyone can enjoy this magical storybook!

This book is a collection of magical fairy tales, including The Warlock's Hairy Heart, The Tale of the Three Brothers, and The Fountain of Fair Fortune.
I really like this book, because it kind of adds to the HP series, and it is just an interesting read.
After you read this one, you should read Quidditch Through the Ages and Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them.
I know this is kind of short, but I didn't have much time to put this together.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by: J.K. Rowling

In case you couldn't tell, I'm reading Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.
Even though I've already read it like a thousand times, I love it. It's my favorite book in the series. For the very few of you who don't know what it's about, it's about Harry Potter, in his final battle with Voldemort(crap; *looks over shoulder* ; whew, I'm safe).
I just love it; there's magic, romance, friendship, heartbreak, danger, and a true test of loyalty. Don't read it in the dark or you won't be able to stop because you'll get freaked out. And, if you think about it, it's kind of depressing. Same thing with The Hunger Games and The Maze Runner.
Anyway, I've gotta go now; hope you read this book. It's awesome!

The Kill Order by: James Dashner

Second book post!! Yea!

This book is the prequel to The Maze Runner series, which I guess is in now that one of the books is a movie. You know, it's funny; I read the entire series three times before the first movie even came out, and I thought, "They should totally make movies for these books", you know? And then, they do, and I'm just like, bruh, they are, like, copying me. Stahp. Just why.
Anywho, it's about four people trying to survive after sun flares struck the earth. At first, they were surviving, even thriving, but then, a virus goes around, and everyone it infects, dies. The virus is called the Flare. With each person it infects, it mutates, and gets stronger, so now, it takes longer for the infected to die. Before they die, they go insane. As in, cannibilism and murder and just overall insanity, and they go through complete and utter painful misery.
On their way to find a cure, they pick up a little girl named Deedee, who got left behind by her village, because she didn't have the Flare, even though everyone else did. They thought she was an evil spirit.
As they go along on their journey, many, MANY obsticles stand in their way, and most of the time, they get out. Will they find the cure? Or will they reach an insane and painful future instead? I don't know; you'll have to read the book.

Insanity by: Susan Vaught

Okay, so this is my first official book post! Yay!!

This book is about different people coming together, all because of one thing: a haunted asylum. Awesome, right? Just agree with me. :) This asylum is called Lincoln Psychiatric Hospital, and it is in a little town called Never, Kentucky. I don't know if this is a real place, but if it is, I feel sorry for the people who live there. According to the book, this is an unnerving place. It's about a group of people who can see ghosts, and some even are ghosts!!
And whenever the bells tolls, the patients run screaming through the halls, because they know that something is coming, something that none of the people who work there know.
In this book, four teenagers(some dead)are haunted by things they see in the dark hallways and corners of this asylum.
